is there any possibility that within afew years after the release that different models will be released with the cdma coding ( i have verizon and am part of their "v.i.p." customer program and dont really want to sign a contract with them. )?
and according to http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/C/CDMA.html cdma is more reliable and a much more capable cellular system than gsm. I can only hope that sony decides to make a cdma model soon, honestly i wont buy the vita until i can get 3g with verizon. say what you want, but i dont want to spend $250 for a wifi only model or $300 for a forced contractual 3g enabled model. ill wait patiently 'till things change up a bit

I think this whole notion that the 3G model will be contractual is wrong. I don't see it going that way. I think they're trying to work out a pay as you go plan, no contract required, so you only pay for it when you want to use it. That to me would make a whole lot more sense.

Put down some ideas for the vita that would of been cool or is obvious and should be there already:
It could of been cool if they put in L2/R2 buttons classic controller style and Im hoping there are L3/R3any status on that.

5/wii_controller_screen001.jpg You don't need those extra buttons as the touchpad can be set aside for that if needed. Maybe it could be L2/R2 and L3/R3.
It has clicking analog sticks for L3/R3

Aah ... but are they really L3/R3 if there is not L2 and R2?

But also the point he was making was he didn't want to buy a 3G system that is not compatible with his carrier.

Woah, I been gone for only a week and you crazy kids are up to it already. I was hopeing for a melting pot of ideas, not another 3G debate. Guess I gotta make due.

Thing is it might take up more space and make the Vita bigger, unless the buttons are very shallow which might not work well.
Not really, the buttons themselves arn't too big but i see what you mean about the shallowness

Or the buttons could be like mouse buttons. Think the L/R buttons on the old US Sega Saturn controller.
i never got to play the original sega saturn... TO THE FLEA MARKET!
