what are the prices? just curious because say come June 10th and Sony announces a price drop on the system... you may or may not had a deal.
Let's say that they announce a price drop and the system itself is 199.99$ for wifi and $249.99 for 3G/wifi; if the sale right now for the bundle is $249 for the 3G/Wifi plus a game... it would be okay because that's a decent deal. But say you buy it now and it's $299.99 I think you might be upset since you probably could have used that extra $50 for picking up games, new mem card, n' such.
IMO, I don't forsee a new version of the Vita releasing at least for another year once PS4 is out. There may be tweaks which accomodate the PS4 and Vita which aren't available on the current model of Vita, but honestly these kinks won't even be known until the system is out and people are actually using the features.
AC3 bundle with PS all star battle royal and a few other goodies was 178.00 on an Amazon deal last November, I couldn't resist. Ill by my kid one if I see a good bundle at that price again.Thats a WIFI model of course.
I honestly doubt a new model of the PSV is coming out any time soon. (I could be wrong. But, my gut says there won't be.)
If the price is worth it (and limited), go ahead and get one. You may kick yourself later if you find out there is no price-drop announced at E3 and you missed out on a deal.
I just got my PSV a little over a week ago. My Wife bought it for me as an anniversary gift, and it was on a limited-time sale for $199, at Frys.
