Just wondering if anyone else's PSNetwork going slow? I have comcast cable at 8mbps, but its like if I got dial up or something. I ran a speedtest and I am getting more than 8mbps, but its still slow and my PC is internet is running very good. It took like almost a half hour to download that blast game which is 79mb, and now im trying to download the RFOM demo and its at only at 7% and its been sitting there for about 15-20 mins. Is anyone else having this problem?

Browsing the internet is slow.  I started downloading F1 demo about five minutes ago and I'm at 28% complete, so my downloading speed is fine.  Online games of resistance is flawless so far.  Trying to figure out what port to open for NAT.

I'm downloading the MotorStorm demo and it not done yet and I've been doing it for over 30 mins. I guess...that normal. It's 400+ MB

Yes, its retarded. It took forever just to download a 70MB trailer of Motorstorm. And the first time I tried the demo, the connection timed out or something half way through, so I had to re download it (its been a couple hours already!) and its only at 25%. Its probably just because EVERYONE (except for the stupid eBayers) are on the Network doing stuff.

Just downloaded Motorstorm Demo, ist just finished actually.  It definately did not take 30 minutes, more like 15 - 20 minutes. 

Is your PC on the network DLing something at the same time?

yea mine is, its got Bit torrent open. thats part of the issue for me, but its still rather slow either way.

i am on 7mbps cable line, downloading motorstorm demo took me 10 - 15min, RFOM online play is flawless so far

 I think i fixed my own issue just by having the PS3 directly wired to the router instead of having it wireless. That really sux if I wont be able to take advantage of the built in wifi. Thats one of the reasons I got the 60gig. Are there any settings on my router or PS3 I have to configure? I have a linksys wireless G WITH speedbooster.
