I would say mine, just because I neglected to offer my own choice would have to be
This game finally convinced me the PS3 was worth buying. (Not an X Box fan). After playing a few minutes of this game on a friend's system, I could not go back to my PS2.
I have played Dead Space eight times now, on all difficulties. Despite the AI popping out in predictable fashion, I still love it as such as the first time I played it.
That being said, I have not played Uncharted yet, and I will definitely give that a try. Its seems to be popular. Any other suggestions as well?
I played, and loved GOW 1 & 2, as well as the PSP title. Got the demo for GOW 3, but found I was just playing the same game as before, only the story progressed.
Funny side note, played demo for Dante's Inferno, and thought to myself, "hey, this is God of War without Kratos". LOL
Regardless, GOW is definitely a mainstay in the annuls of PS3, and one of the PS only titles that propels PS over X Box. Not a fan of HALO, and don't get all the hype.
Funny you should say that about Dante's Inferno. There was an entire website dedicated to GoW hackware a couple of years ago. it was called something to the effect of "likegodofwarbut(dot)com". Dante's Inferno, Bayonetta, Darksiders and several other games were reviewed on the site. Despite the name of the site, it was rather fair in it's reviews.
As for me, for my $60, I would probably go with either Assassin's Creed Brotherhood or Revelations (I liked/disliked certain aspects of both, so it's pretty much a tossup).
If you lost all your games (tragedy), and you only could spend $60.00 (assuming all games would still cost retail New Value), what game would you absolutely NEED to have again? No timeline for release on games either. All games ever made for PS3 are valid here.
What game is an absolutely MUST HAVE, that you would never want to lose?
I consider myself a shrewd buyer of games, and spend my money as wisely as possible. What game should I definitely get into?
Provided everyone is over 21, I'd probably say "First round's on me!".
