This generally means that your ps3 has suffered a general hardware failure and the console will need servicing by Sony.

If your console is still under warranty Sony will replace your console free of charge.

This is the yellow light of death. You will need to get your PS3 repaired. I recommend Endlesselectronics.org.

man some of these people must be reps for endless electronics..lol...seriously though by the time you pay shipping and handling and diagnostic fees and crap you could just spend just a little more and get a new system or do like me and just reball it yourself if your handy that way...

I'm no spokesperson. I just had a damn good experience with them myself. It's known as a good review and word of mouth, maybe you've heard of it. Not everyone is techsavvy you know. And I actually saved money over buying a new one and I kept all of my saved data, which was my main concern.

i didn't mean to offend anyone...im sure they probably do a good job at what they do from the reviews it just seems pricey to me considering what you can buy a new unit for now..

The best thing would be to have it serviced by sony playstation. Its their product, they know what their doing. Plus you get a 90 day warranty on it.

thats not an opinion but its a fact, unless the thing is under warranty then you don't want to deal with them to just get back a junky refurbished unit that will die after 90 days....those stories are all over these threads how people have been robbed like that..
