Re: [OFFICIAL E3] PlayStation Plus Announcement Discussion.

@Swerv_Griffin

If you've noticed, I haven't STARTED using insults until you have. It makes no sense to not defend yourself. Fight fire with fire.

Also, not sure why you would pay for PS+ on 2 different accounts, as you get the same thing with just 1, but hey, it's your money, spend it on whatever you want. Not gonna try and stop you.

I'm still in the "probably not gonna buy PS+, or maybe even a PS4" boat at this time.

I still think Sony could make online free with all the money that is coming in, even with the server cost. Make up for it in someway.
Just thinking about the fact that they paywalled one of the most basic and simple things in gaming gets me hot. I've deleted numerous apps off my phone because they did stuff like that, and I haven't missed those games since.

I don't expect everyone to agree or understand, but the amount of people that are not only happy, but excited to pay for what has always been free is crazy. It doesn't work like that for anything else in the world, so why a video game company?
And disagreeing with that makes me cheap or entitled? No.

If one subscribes to PS+, can you suspend your account at any time and re-start it at a later date? I often go through spurts of online playing followed by months where I don't even turn on my PS3 (except to watch blu-rays). I don't want to pay for a service I'm not using.

I have been a Playstation Plus member for a year now. I absolutely love the service and all the perks you get with being a member. However one thing I would like to see upgraded with the service, since it now is mandatory to play mutliplayer on the PS4 is a party chat room to communicate with friends outside of game chat. Is there any details of any upgrade sevice since?

It was announced alongside the PS4 reveal I believe.

I'm pretty sure if you cancel it you can't reopen it without paying more. This would be to prevent people from lets say only using thier sub on Tuesdays to collect expiring games and then after 2 years having 200+ games for $50.

Back on Topic. I'll be adding Playstation Plus to my main account this week. I guess that is the strongest show of support that I can make, by having PS+ on 2 separate accounts. I and most others who have repeatedly responded to you and your sidekicks in this thread, don't care at all if you never get PS+. If you do, you'll play, If you don't, you'll play whatever is available to you for free. You'll just be riding on the "Frre Train" as usual, and that's alright by me.

I would reccomend making a EU account and getting PS+ on that for a slightly diffrent variety of games if your getting PS+ twice.

EDIT: Sorry about the four posts in-a-row thing. I don't feel like editing them all together to make one huge post.

He probably has two accounts because he has 3 PS3's. Plus can only be linked to 2 at a time

@ExMimic

Oh. I'd be lucky to pay for it once. Lol
Even at $5 it isn't that big of a savings for me.

Exactly, and thanks for understanding. I actually have about 13 accounts. I believe that 15 or16 is the limit that one ISP can have. I only use about 4 of them actively, and only post on this Forum with my SWERV_GRIFFIN account. I only use my SWERV_GRIFFIN account at GT Planet, as they only allow one user account per person.Smiley Happy
