Not impressed with bioshock?!

9 replies 269 views Edited Jan 20, 2013

Never played bioshock games befire but ps plus got bioshock 2 for free so before buying the trilogy pack i gave it a go. I find it weird boring n so far repitive. I know bioshock is pretty popular so my question is do i need to play the first one 1st for it tk make sense n be fun or not. What do u guys think does bioshock deserve more of my time?

It took a little while for Bioshock to grow on me.

That's a pity. I've platinumed both of the the games, and love em to death.

And I'm honestly not sure how they're repetitive. You're given a plethora of weapons and upgrades, freedom over how to use them, and around a dozen different enemy types to use them on.

The original BioShock has a special place in my video game collection. Every now and then I will want to replay it because it left a lasting and meaningful impression on me. I cannot say the same about BioShock 2. I recommend playing through the original BioShock for the experience that it offers its players. However, you don’t need to play through the first video game in this series in order for the second one to make sense.

With that being said, if you didn't like the gameplay in BioShock 2 then I don't think you will like the gameplay in its predecessor.

Thanks for the feedback! Im thinking ill just pass on bioshock n forgo picking up the collector edition with both games in it. Ive missed out on a few trilogys n some of the big ones like hitman, max payne, uncharted ect n been buying all the heavy hitters n been LOVING them so figured bioshock would be another but just cant get into it. Far as when i said its repitive i was refering in the endless point at n collect so many things over n over n i only played n hr! guess just not the game for me. But again thanks fir feedback n save ur coin for The PS4 coming SOON lol imo!

I found Bioshock to be better than Bioshock 2. It was some different and new but when 2 came out you already knew what to expect. I found the same with Dead Space being better than DS2.

I find it fun to play around with the plasmids and the security hacking is cool, but I don't think it's worthy of 9's and 10's out of 10

Hello, not everyone likes everything that's overly popular or overly hyped...you tried it and you didn't like it...now you know and now the wonder is dead...time to move on... ... ...moved on... ... ...
