I just tried to download Bioshock 2. It requires 9343 MB and I tried to download it and it gave me the not enough memory error. I tried to delete some stuff and I checked the amount of memory the system has left which is 15 GB. I tried to download again, but it gave me the same error message. Please help.

The usual culprit is the 'Game Data Utility' folder in the XMB...not to be confused with the 'Save Data' Folder (your actual game save files). Many PS3 games install a little or a lot of data on your HDD, some w/o you really knowing it. I'd check that folder first. Delete any data you don't need from games you don't play or own.
Don't worry any data you delete from the folder can be easily installed again by simply inserting the game disc or downloading the update (patches) from the PSN Store.

You need twice the space of what the game requires. In your case little under 19 GB.
You need 9353 MB for the install download and 9353 MB space to install the game on your PS3. Some games install themselves, some you need to install yourself once it downloads.
Once the game is done installing the install bubble will delete and you should have that space back.

Delete more or back up what you have an buy a new HDD with more space (you can buy up to 1 TB you know). If you delete, try to delete vids you've watched and demos of games you may own. If you have to, delete games you don't like or think you may not need.
