I cannot get any sound with NBA 2k13.  Every other ps3 game and every other movie i watch i can get sound, buit with NBA 2k13  I cannot  get any sound. What am I doing wrong. Is there a setting in this game that I do not know about? Why is it only this game. This is the second new disk for this game too. I brought the old one back and the new one is doing the same thing. Can anyone help me. I would greatly appreciate it.

It happens unplug the tv and ps3 replug happens with madden 13 as well and did with madden 12

I found out that I am getting sound when I use by TV Speakers but cannot get any sound using my surround sound system. So it had to do with the surround sound but the surround sound works with any other game and any dvd I put in. It just does not work with this game only. I tried to change a few settings but to no avail. But do I want to change any settings since everything else works just fine except this game. I have to play it using crappy tv speakers.

I'm having the same issue except I get no sound through tv but I get sound through surround sound any one have the same issue or know of a fix so I can get sound through tv speakers thanks

can anyone else get dolby digital 5.1 sound with this game. still cannot get it. again it is only with this game. can anyone else get dolby digital or is it just me with this game!

to get sound from my tv,  you have to change your sound setting to hdmi and not dolby digital on the Playstation. this is what i have to do to get sound from this game.

I had this same issue, everything else worked fine, just not 2k13. I had to hard reset PS3: power down ps3 (showing red light), press AND HOLD power button on front of ps3 until it beeps at you (about 5 secs). It'll prompt you through choosing resolution settings, etc. Now the game works perfectly--audio & all.
