In the previous gen. games came out complete to the consumer because; if they weren't then word would spread about that developer releasing a broken game and thier bottom line would be affected. Now a days we have games that don't seem to of even gone through proper testing let alone being allowed to go gold ( skyrim for ps3,etc.) I feel for gamers who don't have High speed internet because barely any of the games released so far are palyable day one.
I agree with you on this one, like Far Cry 3 having a day 1 patch that fix some glitches, why couldn't they do this before releasing the game? Is like they are rushing to get it out, like there is no tomorrow. Just because they can fx it later with a 500+ mb patch desn't mean they should.

oddly enought. this article came out last january. sony is just a year late lol... http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/01/25/report-no-u
but it would be really stupid on both systems. some pepole rely on used games. like me. i rarely buy a brand new game. let alone, this means i cannot take a game over to my friends house and play it there.

You keep sayiing "kid, young one" like that makes you mature enough....do you know how older am I? Just wondering.....
But you know what, doesn't matter, you own two of the best franchises of the generation and you are telling me all games before then were better? Go play Pacman then old man and leave us enjoy. You don't like the games that come out? Don't buy them! don't like DLC? Don't buy them! You are part of the problem if you do, that hypocritical stance you are on doesn't help get what you want.
Back up your words, your opinions aren't facts don't matter how many times you say they are.
Your tone gives away your age and or maturity, oh and saying things like "do you know how older am I?" doesn't help to disguise your youth. Yes I own those 2 and MGS and RDR and KZ2 all good games but they don't compensate for the lack of content and quality that I have witnessed this gen. As far as being part of the problem, I was actually part of the movement to squash Zipper and S4. Which I might add was successful at closing down the Zipper studio and flopped the game. Not that I expect this from you since you have better things to do with your time like finishing your education. Oh and please go learn what a hypocritical stance is before using the term incorrectly in a public forum. You know nothing of what I spend money so don't assume you do.
Arkthur_us wrote:Just because you had to google hypocritical stance before posting doesn't mean I had to. Stop the **bleep** kid, you are just embarrasing yourself, move on, life is too short. Keep buying your DLc and be a PS4 day one buyer too and keep downloading then come here and keep talking trash about developers and their half games. I'll still be here proving you wrong.
Live well
Is this the way you kids say " I'm sorry sir, you were right and I was wrong"? Weak just like the rest of your argument, if you are too embarrassed to show your ignorance in public then just stop talking. In no way shape or form should you start to pm me I am not your friend and with a snot nosed attitude like that I highly doubt I ever will be. Now go converse with someone on your level and leave the real conversation to those who have their feet firmly planted in reality and don't have to go around making up ish.

You do realize you're killing used games yourself? As more and more "gamers" embrace digital distribution and cloud gaming, they are driving nails in the coffin of used games, and yet they don't have a problem with that.
And those who keep saying "I'll quit video games, I mean it I will!!", I say you won't. Why? Because there's no other medium that is more accessible, and asks so little of the user. You're not going to start reading, because books are the enemy, and you're not going to pick up a guitar and start a band, that requires too much effort. Movies? That's old hat to gamers, and are considered "too passive". Nothing else gives you that same feeling of accomplishment without actually doing anything. You press a button and something happens. You press another button, something else happens. It's the same principle as the pleasure center experiments done in the 50's. You'll keep buying video games, because it's your drug of choice. Say "no I won't and I'll take a stand" all you want, you'll be back. It's only a matter of time, And if not you, someone else. The industry doesn't begin and end with this current generation of gamers, no matter how narcissitic they are.
