New PS3--Game saves?

1 replies 97 views Edited Sep 14, 2013
This may seem like a stupid question, but I wanted to get input from someone who may know before I spend money needlessly. Thanks in advance:

I'm going to be getting a new ps3 next week. I currently have one of the old style (fat) 80 gig systems. It still works fine, but with all the games I've gotten with my PS Plus membership, I'm out of hard drive space. So I'm picking up the 500 gig/GTA V bundle. My question is regarding transferring my game saves.

Can I take advantage of the PSN "cloud" space & upload my game saves to the cloud, & then access them once I install the games on my new system? Or should I just pick up a flash drive to transfer the data that way?

Thanks again for any help & advice!

That's really what the PS+ Cloud feature is for.
