can the glasses be used on other 3dtv brands? my 46" samsung uses bluetooth for the signal.
The Sony 3D glasses are compatible with other brands that use IR glasses, but since yours uses bluetooth it isn't compatible....
you could buy a normal 3d tv or if you have got the money you could even get the new smart tv, the ps3 should be able to play 3d games on a regular 3d tv at 1080p or 720, but i am not sure of the resolution. Not sure but 3d tvs should be able to display blu ray 1080i display, not fully sure yet but that should be possible

That is hard to say, but I would say it is since the issues found with the product were not found until well after it has been distributed to stores. I believe Sony has now discontinued the product, with stores like Best Buy and GameStop liquidating them for $200...
i have a little problem with the 3d tv from sony... when i tried to play ps1 ( yes i'm a bit nostalgic)... the image only appear in black and white... i know the yellow componant is supposed to go in green hole... but i only get black and white... any idea what would be the problem?
