If you read my post, you'd have seen it was in direct response to MR_MINERALZ who posted " I would have appreciated some info from sony, but i guess they're busy with their coffee this morning.". That statement implied Sony is responsible for this app, which they are not.
I'm in the US and last night the Netflix app crashed my Vita. It ended up restarting to a type of re-boot screen.
Sony can't afford to perform a full test suite on all software for their platform. That is up to the individual app developers. What Sony most likely does is test the basic functionality and ensure there are no features which go against their terms of service.
I wasn't implying anything, I was simply suggesting that seeing as how Netflix is an app on their device maybe they might have answers as to why it's not working in Canada.
Another fan boy = Face palm
LOL ... Definitely not a fan boy, given that I've still been playing my 3DS more than my Vita since launch. Just trying to state that you're looking for answers in the wrong place. Try sending Netflix support a message about this and see what they have to say.
I called Netflix about the Vita issue and they told me it is up to Sony to activate the access to Canadian Netflix on the device because it actually is linked to your Playstation Network account.
