I've downloaded it twice, put in my personal info twice etc. Can't get videos to play. It just tells me something about the video not being able to play. And to try another video. Well, I did that. No videos work. So I don't know what the hell.
Also, when it is loading a video the system will go into sleep mode. Then netflix will freeze at the loading screen and not do anything. I have to close it.
Seems like I got one of the Vitas that the Netflix app doesn't work with... like those Canadian fellas.
Anyone else having issues with Netflix? My PS3 and computers all still work. I don't really need Netflix on the vita... but whatever. Nice to know it is there.
And what is the deal with 3g not working with netflix? One word for that... retarded.

Why do people assume 3G is good for streaming full on movies and use for online gaming? It's not strong enough, nor is there enough data in a month for people to be doing that.
3G is for the social aspect. Like I've told other people, should've done your research.
This is why I didn't buy a 3G console. There's no point. I have Twitter/Facebook etc on my Blackberry.
Sorry to hear Netflix isn't working though. Have you restarted it by holding the power button for 30 Mississippi seconds?

3g is perfectly fine for streaming full movies I do it on my phone. Its just a very poorly designed AT&T plan. Find a way to tether your phone to it will make it easier.
Also if your having trouble making it not work on wifi not sure

Yes, I agree. 3G is plenty "strong" enough to stream HD (720p) movies. The problem is not enough data.
Personally, I think it was a good move to not allow Netflix over 3G on the Vita. This will prevent kids who get a 3G vita from draining their data allowance in an hour.
I haven't gotten my Vita yet, but when I do, I will be trying out the 3G for at least through my free 250MB session. If I like it, I will continue to pay for it. If not then I can just disable it.
250MB monthly seems, atm, to be plenty for what the Vita offers over 3G. The 3GB seems like overkill.
EDIT: I believe you can change the time interval for which the Vita will go to sleep. That should help Netflix some.

Netflix is working for me, but my problem is that the Netflix UI doesn't appear to be formatted properly. I have text bleeding into images and the scroll seems to lag pretty badily.

Same here, very slow to respond and play movies and this is with a 50 mb down speed so I can imagine how slow it is with normal Internet speed. I would say your just not waiting long enough. Make sure the screen does not time out by touching it and I bet it will eventually work.
