Need help after using HDMI to RCA cables on my PS3

10 replies 12712 views Edited Oct 14, 2009

I have been using my PS3 on HDMI and now I want to connect it via RCA, however I do not get picture.

I have read that I have to reset my PS3, but I am leary on this.  What exactly does it delete and restore?

I'd have to pair my bluetooth stuff and all that stuff still?

You don't reset it that way, just reset the video. Hold down the power button. It turns on, then continue holding it unil you hear a few beeps. That should make the screen come up.

all you have to do is hold the power button while it is in stand by till it beeps the second time. all it does is reset the display settings. it will also reset your background to the original settings. nothing else.

From standby, turn on the ps3 manually by pressing the touch sensor or power button on the front of the ps3. Remember to hold the sensor/button until the second beep. Then you should see the display settings on screen. Choose Composite and the correct settings.
