Hey ppl, well i need some seriouse help w / my ps3.. i just bought it off craigs n well they ripped me off cuz they sold me one of those PS3 from the stores that they have for demonstrations! U know, like the one at walmart or best buy that u can only play the demo games that are saved on there! well b4 i did the update i had to scroll to security from settings n place a code in n it would take it off demo mode but snce the update the password changed n now im stuck on demo mode n i cant go in browser or do nothing on it.. so its basically useless.. Plz Plz Plz some1 help me????

i think those systems are only demonstration models, i dont think there is a way to get it normal. i hope you paid with pay pal so you can get your money back.

As said above these models were meant for the stores and not for the public I guess the best thing would be to try and get your money back if not you may be out of luck because I don't think Sony will give you the password to it.

OK, for those of you who have a Demo PS3 these codes allow you to have full control of the PS3 features, and removes all limitations that the Demo Firmware (http://fshop01.ps3.update.playstatio...updatelist.txt) has.

To unlock your Demo PS3 go to the XMB, then Security Settings. While highlighted, press L1+R1+Select+Square and it will ask you for a 4-digit code.

Then enter the appropriate 4-digit code from below and your PS3 will now be unlocked!
