I just had a flashback to a fighting game that was released a while back for the PlayStation 3...but I forgot the name.
This particular title was released in late 2010 or 2011. It was available on PSN (but I don't think on disc). It wasn't a major fighting franchise, and I believe it was cheap in price. It was a three-dimensional title with a slightly overhead view of the action. Kind of a brawler-style fighting game like Final Fight or Double Dragon. Great graphics, but the game was said to be very substandard and disappointing.
Does anyone remember what this game was?

Gosh, that's not it either. I know it's very vague, but I guess that's why the game was reviewed so poorly.
The game I'm referring to is very close to the format of Sleeping Dogs (PS3) and Jackie Chan: Stuntmaster (PS2), both viewable here:
Man...it wasn't Scott Pilgrim or Dead or Alive. It wasn't Yakuza, and it wasn't Just Cause. It wasn't No More Heroes. I don't know where to go with that, but I just can't describe it further. LOL
I do believe it was WATCHMEN. I played the demo, and remember it vaguely. Obviously, I can't expect anyone to read my mind, just guess I was thinking out loud. LOL

I wouldn't call it cheap (it was a $20 PSN title), but Watchmen does sound like the game you described otherwise. I like threads like this but they don't come up often. I didn't post earlier because I couldn't figure it out, but I like trying to guess .
Edit: I was looking for something else in my download list and saw the demo came out in March 2009, so maybe it's not the right game, or maybe you just remembered wrong.
