Why is the NRA blaming Video Games on gun violence? Government officials fail to realize that video games have nothing to do with the violent tendencies that people gain when they administering these drugs like zolof that gives people suicidal thoughts to their users. They need to stop blaming video game because a video game cannot kill people just as a gun cannot kill people. IT'S THE PEOPLE WHO KILL PEOPLE. Unstable minds from the medicines we take. Blame the FDA instead.

All I know is we all should be mindful that the current guy in office is fond of Executive Privileged, which requires NO confirmation by Congress.

It is the Presidential Power that allows a President to overrule anything the masses want or need, in order to fulfill their own satisfactions.

Now the Supreme Court is the only entity that can overrule an Executive Order, if and when it is found to be Un Constitutional.  Lets face it though, the current Supreme Court, no matter the make-up is no stronger than a Jellyfish against the rocks.  They are enamored by the current P, and allow him to do as he pleases.

Start writing letters now people.  It is OUR Country!  Let us make the decisions, and keep someone who cannot run for reelection from making decisions he does not care whether or not the public likes or not.

Guns, and Video games are now being placed on the same level.  Both "should" be and actually ARE protected in the US Constitution.  Don't let some clown railroad this Country into some form of controlled State.

States Rights are at risk here as well.  The Federal Government has been trying, since the beginning of this Country to seize complete control over the States.  Every little piece of Federal Legislation introduced has picked away at the sovereign Rights of every State.  Federal Jurisdiction is meant to enforce laws the cross State Borders, and is now taking more control over the States, through Ear Mark Promises.

When Senators, House Reps, and Governess take Fed money for their State, they are almost always required to relinquish more State control to Federal Control.  It is becoming absurd.  It is The UNited States of America, and not Federal America.

The system of checks and balances is undermined every time ANY President decides to invoke Executive   Privileged.

Despite the tragedy surrounding recent events, it is important to keep a clear view of what is at stake here.  Banning video games, and guns WILL NOT stem the increase in violence and violent act.  Bubble wrapping everything will not keep the malcontents and misguided from committing heinous acts.

More attention should be paid to mental health, and I actually agree with stricter policies regarding the acquisition of firearms.  We have ESRB Ratings on Games already.  Parents need to take care of their children, and stop waiting for someone else to do the work for them!

Just my thoughts here.

They make strong Gun laws because they fear what one person does with. The people

I just wonder if they would ever attack their own game. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7034883

Does the guy making statements even know it exists. Couldn't this game be seen as a gateway to violent shooters?

[As BRIT-KO has mentioned, we got a pretty big topic about this here: http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3/NRA-Blaming-Video-Games-for-the-Violence/m-p/39... I ask you continue your discussion there, thanks!]
