Recently me & my Brother signed up with Sprint for Internet service & we got this new 3G/4G overdrive hotspot Wireless Modem, it's great for Internet Browsing & even better for Online Gaming, the only problem is I was able to use it on PSN for 2 days then after that It wouldn't work anymore, the first problem was the IP Address, before I could just scan it & it worked great but then I needed to do it manually, After looking at the Information on the Sprint Website I found out the IP Address for the Modem, before when Scaning it couldn't obtain it & would Time Out, Now I enter it Manually so it would work, the new problem is the DNS error, every code I enter it fails, I entered the typicall 4222-4223 code & it still fails, I really need help, PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OUT, I WANNA PLAY ONLINE! Before I had slow Internet so I couldn't, Now it's like having a Car you can't drive, It's really Frustrating! So please help me out.
I'm actually guessing you mean something else like... upnp. but games do not necessarily work with it disabled or enabled. It depends upon a router, and how that router opens ports automatically (which is what upnp is used for).
Manually put in the ip address, Use the sprint card as the DNS server aswell as the one it uses, disable udp and media server,
If that fails you could always just connect the ps3 to a desktop or laptop(MUST USE CROSS OVER CABLE) with wifi and conect that to the sprint card
It's not a USB Card, It's a wireless tablet, It does have a detachable USB cord though, also whats a UDP & how do I disable it?
Check your plan. The Sprint 3G usage is not unlimited. Looks like 4G is unlimited, but Sprint is apparently capping 3G usage at 5GB/mo. Basically, you're done for the month after you download about 4 demos/play online for several hours if 4G is not available in your area.
