On top of my Vita there is a flap by the volumes buttons which has what looks like a video out port under it. What cable would I need to get video out? I thought it might take some sort of HDMI cable but none that I have fit in the slot.
I bet it will be used for video out. Sony will probably release an update and a cable for it to work. By the way what kind of accessory would the Vita need. It already has built in cameras.
that hole is there for when your bored you can just rub it a little till your satified!......... i really think its for a upgraded camera for the clear as can be screen and also a A/V out for a future update.
I believe it's called the "Accessories Terminal". But, somehow I've got a feeling it will end up being nothing important. Much like the IR sensor the PSP had. It would be awesome if it supported video out.
it would be nice for a L2 R2 trigger adaptor with a rumble pack. so the touch pad can be used for the L3 R3. by the way the trigger adaptor was a idea from another user from a thread about the port. the rumble pack idea was just something i added to it right now.
SCE can't just "add" video out in a future update. The hardware needs to be there, and it's very unlikely the accessories port contains video out hardware. If it did, SCE would've mentioned it before now.
they dont have to mention everything. the vita might have a hidden feature in the software just waiting to be activated like A/V output. how would you know for sure. maybe sony wants to see how good the vita does first before adding a A/V accessory. you and no one else on here helped develope the ps vita. so let us have hope for this feature.
