Like I said, the analog sticks are made of a different material that sucks.
You can see how nasty the sticks are. The material itself flakes and its sticky that it grabs all your dead skin cells off your hands. And no I don't have nasty hands. Take your PS4 controller under the flash of your camera and you'll see the same thing - if you can't feel the poor material with your hands
Here is an Xbox 360 controller under the same lighting that I've used for a year with no problems:
After a couple weeks, I've reached a verdict. This controller does a lot of things better than the DS3 and some things better than any controller out there. However the analog stick material is inexcusable and IMO, the controllers need to be recalled as for $60 a piece, those sticks are **bleep**.
The triggers while better, still suck. They are too short and sharp. I have thin hands and even my fingers don't fit on the triggers which make them extremely uncomfortable since the sides are sharp and dig into your skin.
At first glance, you may think I'm too critical of the controller but if your a PlayStation user, you've waited 7-8 years for Sony to catch up to Xbox's good triggers and now you might have to wait another 7-8 years. And for whatever reason, they go a step forward with better spacing of the analog sticks, only to go 10 steps backwards with highly inferior material.
disappointed to say the least
Sigh, instead of the "cool story", how about actually contributing usefull input. Did you guys even click the links or the pictures? I doubt it.
You don't have to be a fanboy, you can actually be objective and recognize flaws.
Okay, you want me to "contribute". In my opinion you want the DS4 to be the same as the 360 controller, that way you can say "I won't have to get used to something new, it will be exactly the same", which is not reason enough for them to go back into R&D and change it.
