There are SO many reasons on why the downloads are slow from the PSN. Could be anything from your network is overloaded, YOU have a bad internet connection to the PSN being overloaded with thousands of people trying to download the same thing at the same time. Also if you are using wireless from your PS3 you could see even more of a slowdown so stop blaming the PSN until you get the facts on WHY the speeds are actually slow. In my personall experience with the PSN I have not had a any slow download issues, my PS3 is wired and I have 8Mbps download.

Yea im getting 100-120 Mbps when i use my computer speed test but when I use the PS3 speed test I only get 35 Mbps i think its max is 35 or 40 Mbps... and yes there is 100 Mbps internet look at charter.com or comcast.com

Also yeah, the internet speed you have could be 1 million MBps and yet it all depends on the ISP of the site or company your downloading from as well as your HDD inside the PS3

Yeah the PS3 will only allow so much speed so once you hit the cap everything else is not used.  I believe the fastest internet is in Europe, Eastern Europe. In North America we pay a lot for a little.

80gb download limit per month. This is the basic high speed package with 2 levels above me.
