My controllers screwed?

4 replies 66 views Edited Jun 8, 2013

Hey hey, have a question, concern, want to know **bleep**. The newest controller I bought, new started acting up, I press in L3 to sprint or R3 to knife on call of duty, I start throwing grenades, aiming down my sight, randomly picking up weapons. Even though I am not pressing those buttons, my other controller is startering to do the same. Unable to do what I want.. my controllers just screwed and I need to get new ones?

Have you tried altering the settings via the in game menu?...maybe someone has thought to have a laugh with you and alter them.

If not, you can try and reset the controller. If you flip the controller over and find the screw hole in the middle (above the technical sticker). To the very right of that is a little hole, insert something into it and this will reset your controllers settings and hopefully alleviate the issue.

Most PS3 controllers are screwed. Helps keep em from fallin' apart, ya know?

But I guess you could try what adam here (i know, not the name, bite me) has suggested.
