Doesn't sound like much of a friend. This also doesn't sound like a "hack" - just a dishonest friend.
I suggest calling Sony customer support. They may be able to do something like confirm the IP address associated with your PS3 before you loaned out your account info, but I bet there are T&Cs that have been broken - i.e. this borders on game sharing.

Game sharing is a violation of the PSN terms of service. It really sucks but it sounds like you've been swindled by this so called friend. My advice would be to call Sony so they can permenantly ban the account, that way the person who hijacked your account will at least have no access to it or the credit card information, etc., associated with it.
