Wow I can't belive it was about 10 years when I first recieved my playstation.It was back in 2002 me and my dad were in the living room and all of a sudden I hear our doorbell ring.Me thinking that it was nothing.Then my dad walks in the living room with a big UPS box and then I see it for the first time. A playstation 2.Me being a little kid I had no idea what it was.The PS2 came with no games.So right away me and my dad went out to get some games.I had no idea where we were going.We went to the video game store around our apartment.I can't believe that I remember the first games that my dad had bought for me.It was Tekken and Time crisis.My first two video games.Me being a little kid I had no idea what was going on.So we buy the games then take it back to our apartment.We plug in the PS2 then thus begins my life with playstation.
Back then I had no idea that this machine,this PS2 would be the start of a great adventure.I was amazed at what I was seeing because I had never played a video game until that day.I see bodies flying in Tekken.Guns being shot in Time Crisis.It was a really good day for me.My dad was really enjoying himself too.I was instantly hooked to my PS2.As soon as I went to school all I wanted to do was go home and play some games.Of course I got good grades in school.Everytime I got home I wanted to finish my homework as quickly as possible to get my gaming on.I kept asking my dad if I could take my PS2 with me to school.Of course he said "No".So my adventure with PS2 continues.I went on to buy games like Sly,Ratchet and Clank,Jak and Daxter,God of War.All those games really touched me with their humor,action,and they were just epic. (God Of War was the most epic for me).I can't belive sitting in my room for 5 hours straight,hearing Daxter being funny,or seeing Kratos rip people apart would be so freaking fun.I had so my many good times with my PS2.Then came along the best system in the gaming industry yet PS3.
I remember getting my first PS3. It was back in 2008.I had just come from school.I knew that my mom had bought it cause my sister told me.I could not find it I looked in all the rooms,my closet,under my bed,in the living room.When I went into the kitchen there it was waiting for me.It was the limited edition 80 GB Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3.I was so happy that I just wanted to tear open that box.It was one of the best days of my life.So me and my dad plug it in and I see the PS3 logo for the first time on my screen.Then I see the PS3 XMB for the first time and I was like Oh My God.I pop in MGS4 into my PS3 and I see these amazing graphics.I didn't stop playing at all.That is only the begining of my adventure with my PS3. I was like "could this get any better".Then games like infamous,God of war 3,infamous 2,Uncharted 2,and Uncharted 3 amaze me even more.I just love playing them.Seeing Nathan Drake's adventure for the the first time in Uncharted 2 just amazed me.Seeing Cole get electrical powers from a blast in empire city amazed me.Seeing Kratos kill all the gods and create chaos wasn't amazing it was EPIC.I love games that are able to tell epic stories.I know that Naughty Dog is working on a project which is The Last Of Us.I know that they are going to do a great job because they are amazing game developers.
From Jak and Daxter to Uncharted to The last of Us the stories that each of these games tell is amazing.I hope that one day I get to work with them or in Santa Monica.To be able to learn from people who make amazing games that WOW people everytime they play it would be a great experience.I hope Sony is ready cause I am working hard to make sure that my long hours of playing games is worth it at the end when I am at the big chair of creative director for the Next triple A Playstation blockbuster.I know that there are probably hundreds,or maybe even thousands of people who are just waiting for a shot at playstation.I am ready to show the world what I got.
I find it very sad that in our generation to have other kids or teenagers just like me get bullied just because they love to play games.I could tell you guys that it doesn't matter what people say because if you love gaming then just do it.Nobody has the power to take your ability of gaming away (EXCEPT YOUR PARENTS LOL)
gamers are gamers no matter what country you are from,or what religion you are from,or even how old you are.I see kids as young as 5 years old play games and they really enjoy it.I see my friends father play games he is like 49 years old.If we want to spend our whole day playing games then we will do it cause we are gamers.If we want to play GTA and just shoot people we will do it cause we are gamers.If we want to yell at our parents because they are bothering us when playing COD we will do it cause we are gamers.So don't let other ignorant kids who think they have a life cause they don't play games bring you down.
