|Welcome to the PS Community.
Sir, you have been a victim of chain-message spam. If it sounds too good to be true then it isn't. Moreover, if you fell for such message, I recommend you revise the way you approach emails and surf the internet.
PSN will not shut down [It will be the death of the PlayStation Brand] moreover, PSN will not give you anything that you have not earned. Just keep that in mind.

i got this message about the psn network being down and if we sent the mesaage to all of our friends and entered a code, we would get 50$ in our ps store wallet. i did everything but it didnt let me get the money. HELP!!!
That message was a fake spam message on PSN. Here is how you can tell if a message that offers you PSN money is fake.
I. If the mesage is from another PSN user and you can reply to the message...IT IS FAKE.
2. If the message says "Send this message to all your friends"...IT IS FAKE.
3. If the message is filled with "misspelling" and "bad grammer"...IT IS FAKE.
If Sony ever sends you are message that will give you money it will say it is from [PSN], there will NOT be an option to reply to the message. And instead of an avatar, the sender [PSN] will have the PSN symbol next to the name like this.
