Maximum temperatures PS3 Blu ray discs can handle?

2 replies 242 views Edited Jul 21, 2012

I'm relocating out of my home town state to another state 800 miles away (Thank God) and I'm taking my valuables with me (That includes my PS3). That's my Blu ray/Netflix player. Of course I'm leaving the system in the back seat during the drive, but I was thinking of keeping the games in the trunk. Since the trunk will be hotter due to no air circulating into it, the temp could get as high as 90-100 degrees even while driving (assumption). How much heat can Sony's Blu ray Discs handle? Also the ps2 games as well?

I'm hoping my fellow gamers can help me out in getting the answer. Thanks!

P.S. I'm getting Skrim sometime soon, but don't know if the ps3 version has more content than 360 or not. I've heard in oblivion, the ps3 version has no cure for becoming a vampire.

It'll be fine.

As long as the discs are not in direct sunlight, they will also be fine.

Furiously Chaosing

I get you so horked up

That gets rid of my owrry there. I'd hate to see my Eureka Seven Blu ray movie go bad due to heat (That is one H*** of an expensive movie now (Especially since Bandai Entertainment is no more).
