I really want to get a fighting game for my vita but don't know which one to get. Should I get both?

Blazblue Continuum Shift > MKV > UMvC if you ask me. BB: CS has more content than the other two, you can invest more than 100 hours in Abyss Mode just to complete it. If you like plot, BB has it whereas neither of the other two feature such~.

Gameplay wise, BB is also more refined, although UMvC is just as good, I do find MKV to be more simple in that regard. But if you are looking at games in terms of lasting appeal, the order I suggested is probably the best~.

I agree with Juan, except I'd recommend UMvC3 before MK Vita.

I would have to say Mortal Kombat actually. Don't get me wrong, UMVC3 is great, but I would say Mortal Kombat is the more fun game.

Graphics wise, the UMVC3 is just as good or even better, but Mortal Kombat's gameplay is better than UMVC3's more stylish over substance gameplay. Mortal Kombat is more about combos and tactics. Mortal Kombat has a lot more content too.

In the end though, it all matters if you want a bloody, bonecrushing fighter, or a fighting game where you can see your favorite comic book characters duke it out with Capcom's crew.

I've played both, and personally, I prefer UMvC due to the fact that it's more fast paced. I just prefer that fighting style more.

I have both on the 360, and it was a no brainer to pick up UMvC3 on the Vita. Was my first game for the system. I wanted something that I could pick up and play for a few when picking up my Wife at work. Love being able to hit the Blue PS button to pause anytime, and then just pick back up hours later.

That being said, I also loved MK's story mode this time around. I would put it as my Favorite MK game of all time, just for that. Having watched videos on what they did on the Vita means I'll pick it up when the price drops. $20 being the sweet spot. Just too many good games coming out to get them all at full price.

Probably be picking up the other ones mentioned also. lol.
