I like buying things digitally and cheaply. I buy things digitally all the time. But your memory cards are way to expensive for the space and it's causing me to get less value out of the system and my PlayStation Plus membership.

I have a 4 gb memory card what that seems to mean is that if I want to download a shinny new digital game I have to get rid of everything I ever downloaded to make room for it.

And If I chose to download the Sly Cooper game I'll have to delete Soul Sacrifice.  I've already had to delete Zero Escape, Gravity Rush, and Smart As. I think I could go back and download them again but, it really doesn't feel like I have them if I did it might make letting my PS Plus Subscription expire a much more painful prospect. But it's not like I'm using the discounts that much. If you want the Vtia to be a big digital platform I need space to put all my digital stuff.

Anyone else skipping game purchases because they don't have room for them on the memory card? Put them here and maybe Sony with use the power of math to discover that releasing a large memory card at a reasonable price is in their best interests.

COnversation about skipping games because gamers are too busy/lazy to clean the fridge (Memory card), you completely skipped over the issue with newer games getting larger and larger. Borderland 2 is 4.9gb, it will not fit on your card. If the PS Vita is to get mroe and more AAA titles that offer a console like experience, I think more and more games are ikely to outgrow the 4GB limit of the cards.

BL2 isn't the first, KZM alone can't be played on a 4GB memcard since the game + patches are around 5GB.something. We will all just have to agree that the propietary memcard issue was a poorly planned idea consumer wise~.

I only had a 4gb card for a while and had the same problem having to delete and re download all the time. I upgraded to a 16gb card and filled that up quickly too. I wish they were cheaper it was definitely a poor decision by sony. I also feel like they're quitting on the vita. Sucks.

Re: Lost sales due to small and expensive memory cards

I haven't purchased or even thought of purchasing any more games for my vita because even the physical games I have to delete off my memory stick. Physical alone taking 2gb of my memory stick, and I only have 4 physical games!

And I bought many games on the psn store that I can't download because the size is too big, which means I wasted money on games that I won't be able to play. I had room for them, but I had to delete them for space.

Not only that, 16gb is $40. I can buy a tier 10 lexar 64gb for $40 in my nearest futureshop..........

Sony isn't losing money because of the system... Sony's losing money because of the memory sticks.

Yea it does Smiley Sad. It's a good system, and it stinks that they seem to be giving up on it. I've really enjoyed playing games on it, but it is rather limiting due to the memory card issue.

The best bang for your buck would be the 64GB  cards you can buy on Ebay. Around $100 with free shipping. Of course i mean best bang for your buck relative to PS Vita memory card pricing.

Amazon is selling them new for $67 and change currently for the 32GB which i been thinking of buying for a while now

I have never understood why gaming companies are so stingy when it comes to memory. Memory is cheap and even the PS4 should come with a minimum of 1TB.

What they are doing would remind me of going into a grocery store and being offered a hand basket. If you want a full sides shopping cart to spend your hundreds, you have to buy it.

And it's not just limited to console and handheld makers. Storage is also the main reason I will never buy another iPhonr.

You know if it was not for piracy (us doing it), we wouldn't be having these proprietary memory cards.

Oh and the DS has been hacked for s while.
I made this, want one for yourself? PM me

Oh and the DS has been hacked for s while.

The DS (or 3DS) being hacked has nothing to do with its storage medium. It has to do with its game medium.

People buy flash carts that go into the game slot. Nothing is booted through the SD card expansion.
