I am thinking about getting the thermal pads and paste, fan upgraded in my 80 GB BC PS3 and possibly get it reballed and or a power updrade.
I got it from my cousin who bought it when it first came out in 2007 and reading the other posts about what Sony uses in the PS3 could cause a YLOD to happen easily after two to three years. So far this PS3 hasn't had a YLOD *knock on wood* but the Blu-Ray drive did go out so my cousin's dad had it fixed at a local repair shop where they lived. So the Sony warrinty lable is void.
Would Endless Electronics be able to do this? Are they any good?
Another service I was looking at was FixMyPlayStation.com but their blog looks exactly like Endless Electronics.
Could anyone help/give advice?
i recently sent my Cecha01 to EE and had the component upgrade done to it.http://www.endlesselectronics.org/ps3_repair/ps3_r
