Yes, it went with one of the recent updates, Sony has discontinued using that application as well as Folding at Home too.

Personally while i perfectly understand why most people thought it was stupid. The idea of Folding@Home was great. I mean why stop it? It's not sucking resources unless I want it to. I guess... maybe.. cancer is cured? Because that was the big selling point of Folding@Home help biologists cure disease etc etc.

Honestly... I found it boring.. I basically just went over the globe to witness which parts of the world had more light.. It seems Africa has very little parts with electricity.. I mean the app is a cool looking Google earth but without the super details... If you could nuke the planet.... Now that's a whole different story... I would be on that sht 24/7
