Lots of great feedback so far. Some are even some things that we're actively working on to bring to Plus, so there's certainly some things to look forward to before year's end, and I'll come back to this post to update with the news once they launch.
I love the idea of Store wide discounts, but that one would be tough! Every discount we do is usually worked out with the publisher, so you can imagine how tough it would be to get every game publisher out there to be ok with cutting the cost on their games.
The PlayStation Plus Home space idea is pretty cool, and I definitely would love to see more overlap between Plus and Home since they represent two of the most PS fan focused experiences on PS3. But what would you want to see in a PS Plus Home Space? I know EU has one, but we can always see about building one specifically for NA, that might even make the EU Plus subscribers jellies

I want to address something with you. I can honestly say I'm glad your taking an active role in being a voice for the PlayStation Plus scene. This is Sony's flagship membership for the PlayStation Network and with you taking the time to talk to the members on the forums it really helps keep this boat afloat. Now to get back on topic here's a small list of things I would like to see for PS+ members or even PSN members.
1. Cross Game Voice Chat (I know its a dead horse but damn would it be nice)
2. Voice Messages (Another dead horse but someone has to bring it up)
+ Not for the real more practical stuff.
3. PS+ Home Space - A space with special rewards, exclusive games, and developer discussions.
4. Insider Videos - Videos showing Tips, Tricks, and Trophy Hunting guides on games released via PS+.
5. Member of the Month/Week - Select an active PS+ member and ask them a series of questions so other users can get a better sense of community.
6. PSBlog PodCast Download- (Whatever happened to that?)
7. PS+ Icon on the forums.
8. Better advertisement for upcoming games, exclusives, and benefits (Push the service hard, make it the subscription of all subscriptions)
***9. Most of all I would like to see a PlayStation Style Social Network for PS+ users or PSN Members. The ability to update your status, track friends gaming progress, trophy's, activities, send messages, on any Sony platform and PlayStation.com.
**I understand some of these things are far fetch, but would be nice to see. In know way does not having these perks make me thing differently about the benifit's of PS+, its been a great service overall. I'm just hoping for more non-store benifit's like (Auto-Download, and Cloud Saves).
Two quick points. First, I am glad you actually asked and are reading/responding to the suggestions! That in itself is a welcome addition to the PS+ program.
Second, I think Spy's post covers it, but I will offer a few of my own, listed in order of importance:
- Day One discounts on all PSN games. I doubt I will get any PLAY titles, but I appreciate that PS+ subscribers get a 20% discount.
- I would like to see quarterly release notes. For example, if I am thinking about getting the new Galaga game, it would be nice to see if it was going to be offered with a PS+ discount in Sep. Of course if we received Day One discounts, this would not be an issue.
- Some sort of substitution feature for PS+ subscribers that already own the free offerings. For example, I purchased the PSOne Classic Destruction Derby back in Nov 2010. I cannot remember if that was a PS+ discount, or some sort of PlayStation anniversary selection. The game is free now - it would be nice to get a substitute trinket or some sort - avatar, dynamic theme, Home item, etc.
As silly as it sounds, I am disappointed with the avatar offerings. I would think that it would not be too much skin off of Sony's chin to flip us free avatars; the lack of exclusive PS+ avatars is also somewhat of a bummer. The discounts are more important to me than the avatars, but I thought I would throw this out while someone was listening/reading.
Cannot wait to see how PS+ evolves this year.
I want PS Home integration, most of my time is spent in home and I would like to benefit from my subscription there. I would like to see a PS+ personal apartment with a sale kiosk giving me discounts on items as well as member only item exclusives. the PS+ symbol for over the avi would be nice to see or some exclusive clothing that's not a lame zombie head I will never wear.
Also the plus symbol above the head in home would be awesome. To me the fact of the matter is the people who get plus are the ones who will spend money on the psn. I would think that most plus users are home users and vice versa. and the home users who havent gotten plus yet - would jump on the bandwagon if/when sony starts releasing more plus stuff

Me and Spydude has talked in Home for days on end about this stuff and he is dead on and the ones here who use home agree. Some type of intergration with plus and Home.Again,Im more about what we dont want and the current stuff intrest no one I know of that spends money in Home because we have a little more of a disposable income than the normal user .We are drawn to the unique and different.I really dont wanna copy Europe but man,they just make our plus program look like a thrift store.So,if I had to ask for anything,it would be more like their program.
