LCD compatibility for 3001 with newer motherboard??

I have a PSP 3001 with a broken screen. I've found all sorts of them on eBay for around $17, but most specify that they're for the TA-093 motherboard. Unfortunately, mine has the newer TA-095. Will that screen still work? The same ads on eBay say something like, "if the cables on your screen look like these in the picture, it will fit." My cables look to be the exact same. Has anybody tried this? The only screens I could find that specifically said they were for the TA-095 were closer to $50! Thanks for any help!
