L2/R2 buttons on psp/go

8 replies 647 views Edited Aug 6, 2013

So luckily I've been playing mainly rpgs on the pspgo, but what about some of the older shooters, or any ps1 game that really uses the R2/L2 buttons. In oddworld I have to use the analog stick for sneaking and junk, but are there any unplayable games due to the controls, or is there anything I can buy to give me the extra trigger buttons?

Got my Vita for $50. Woot.

Not really no. I usually map the L2 and R2 to the left and right dpad

Buy a Vita Smiley Tongue

Rear touchpad = L2, R2 Smiley Happy (or you can even map them to the right analog stick).

Yes you can. Just go to the controller setup, choose custom, and map the dpad to the analog stick

If you're a PS+ subscriber, you should be able to upload your saves to the cloud and then download it back to the Vita. I never tried it from another device, but I did transfer saves from one memory card to another.

Agreed!!!! just buy a psvita man you will love the system and Killzone Mercenary is coming out soon, believe me when i say that the game is on a league of its own when it comes to portable fps games and production values on ANY portable game, i still cant believe how good it feels, plays and looks on the vita.

If you have a PS3 you can pair the controller to the PSP Go. I play games like that all the time and its a very easy pairing job.
