I've had problems like this too
What resolved the problem with that is an In-Game reset
Press L1 L2 R1 R2 Start and Select at the same time and at the Main Menu go to back and just go back into the game
This method how ever doesn't fix my Audio problem I have to XMB quit and go back in to fix it
Hi all, I hope someone can help.
I got this game for my partner for her birthday and we went to play it for the first time today. The game shows up as in the machine with the music and images playing, click to play the game, it goes to load up, tries a couple of times then goes off with error code 80010514.
I've looked up the code online but can't find any help as its all old posts from when the issue first raised its head with the 40gb models. Other games/dvd's/blurays all play fine without issue. The disc doesn't appear to be damaged or marked in anyway. I'd really like to get this working instead of having to go through the returns process.
I hope someone can help, thanks in advance
1. Press and hold the power button; it will beep as it turns on and then it will double beep. When you hear the double beep immediately take your finger off the power button.
2. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button.
3. Now you’ll see a series of options, this is VERY important, as a miss click will result in erasing your PS3 HDD. The option you want to click is RESTORE FILE SYSTEM.
4. Finally, it is going to restart and bring up a screen reading Corrupted System Data. Your PS will now replace this data Then you choose continue and that should be it.
was posted in 2011 so hopefully this helps you
No troubles for me or my fiance on out file saves or gameplay yet other than minor audio issues. Glad you guys and gals are giving us your issues so I can look out for them and will let you know if we experience any of them.
Hi, i tried the file restore this morning and its still not working. Very dissapointing I don't know what the issue could be, looks like i'll be taking it back for another one.
Just curious but what model PS3 do you have? I'm wondering if some models are having trouble running the game.
Thank you Sony, for putting gamers first. It's good to be back!
