Just bought a PSP

10 replies 157 views Edited Apr 14, 2013

Any good recommendations for some games? I know it's got a huge library. I like action adventure games, racing games, shooters (am looking at the Socom Fireteam Bravo games, are they pretty good?), horror games (any survival horror games for PSP?), platformers. I'm not really big on RPG's though.

Cause it was pretty cheap. Plus I've been wanting to get one for years but never actually got around to getting one. And I know it's got a lot of games.

Action/Adventure, check out:

God of War: Chains of Olympus
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines

Splinter Cell: Essentials

Shooters, check out:
Resistance: Retribution (PSP)

Survival Horror, check out:

Silent Hill: Origins

Hit up your local game retailer and just browse their PSP collection (new and used.)

I'm sure there will be something that catches your eye.

Good stuff. Thanks for the response. I'll check the local Gamestop to see if they have any of these games. Also if you've played it, is the Gran Turismo on PSP pretty good?

Lol, it's cool. I just want to play the some of the PSP library that I missed out on. I do own a Vita, but I know not all PSP games are playable on Vita (Syhpon Filter Dark Mirror was one of them). So best to get an actual PSP to play some of the games you can't play or get on the PS store.

Nice. I like me some Gran Turismo. Gonna have to pick it up.

Also on that Resistance Retribution, I just read on wiki you can use your dual shock 3 controller and remap the controls if own a copy of Resistance 2? How exactly does that work?  Is it insert Resistance 2 on the PS3 and have the PSP hooked up through composite/component cables to the TV?
