Japanese UMD Passport games

17 replies 47 views Edited Dec 1, 2011

Here is a link to the initial UMD passport games that will be available to transfer to the Vita (most of them for 500-1000 yen):

http://search.jp.playstation.com/search?site=FIZ02WOB&group=1&design=2&charset=utf-8&umdpass=1&detai...

Based on that list, we can get some sort of idea what games may be available for the program when/if it comes here. Here are titles I see that have come to the US under this program (but I am sure there are more):

Crazy Taxi

Growlancer IV

Dead or Alive Paradise

Patapon

SNK Arcade Classics

Persona 2

LocoRoco

LocoRoco 2

God of War: Ghosts of Sparta

Phantom Brave

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

King of Fighters

Metal Slug XX

Socom

Patapon 2

LittleBigPlanet

Dirt 2

Valhalla Nights 2

Persona 3

MotorStorm: Arctic

Lemmings

Gran Turismo

Wipeout purE

Metal Slug Collection

Valhalla Knights

Well if Crisis Core and KH BBS are not added to the list, they're crazy.

I hope Star Wars Battlefront UMD games get included in the states.

There was mention that Square Enix was going to be involved, but that is no assurance that those titles will be involved, especially if they aren't already in the PSN store (in Japan), I know they aren't here...

Peace Walker is already available in the PSN store and apparently the MGS collection is going to get a Vita version as well...

Since it is already in the PSN store (assuming the program comes here), it should cost $5-$10 to get it converted, but that could not happen if Konami is more interested in selling the HD Vita version instead...

If they are not on the PSN already they probably won't be on the list. Sqare/Enix chose not to make it available for the PSN when they were making them so I doubt they will go back and do it now.
