Hey there! I was just wondering if this even exists since, I couldn't really find out on Google search. I'm wondering if there exists a USB device that I plug into my PS3 (one of the ports where you recharge the PS3 controller) and then press a button to record what I'm playing, and then when I'm done, I connect the USB to my computer and export the videos. If there is one, will it still work if I play my PS3 with an HDMI? Thanks
PS3 does not ouput video through USB. So no, nothing exists for that.
You'll need a capture device... like Blackmagic intensity, Elgato, AverMedia, Happaggue.... something along those lines.... and they're over $100.
I have heard lots of good things about Elgato for PS3.

Ah ok I see. Hmm that's a shame, I was almost certain it existed, but, I tend to always assume things are relatively simple lol. Thanks for the responses. In that case, I'll look up those things then. If I end up not getting them though, then I guess we'll see how it works for the PS4 since, although I don't exactly understand all of the technical stuff, one thing I did seem to understand was that recording gameplay will in fact be an easy to use feature on the PS4.
