Yes. Longer battery life. Better charging port and easier to hold.

My friend has one and I was able to compare it to my brother's. It is more comfortable to hold and the screen differences are really only noticeable when you sit them side by side. It remains a gorgeous screen.

Only if you don't have one and want one. (A plus if you have PSN+, for the subscription games). If you have the original, there is little to no reason to upgrade to the slim.

Borderlands 2 bundle comes with a 8Gig stick, which run about 20-30 bucks. Borderlands 2 is about 30 bucks, and a charger. So, it's a fair deal @ 200 bucks.

Borderlands2 is about 5.5 Gigs and is a PSN Download,. So, the stick will only hold about 2 Vita games if you have Boarderlands2 installed on it. Slim also has internal memory of 1Gig, but it can't be accessed if you have a stick inserted. You have to power down the Vita and take out the stick, to gain access to the internal storage. At 1 Gig, the internal is good for a PSP game.

Also, to backup your save on a Vita game you have to copy over the whole game. And in Boarderlands 2 case that's about 15 minutes of downtime to backup your save to a PC or to the PS3/PS4. Playstation 1 and PSP saves can be saved on their own....
