Is it possible to run PS3 games "boxed"?

10 replies 272 views Edited Jan 5, 2014

On my display, 720p PS3 games become extremely blurry when they take the full size of the display. Is it possible to run games at their native resolution (For example, GTA V and The Last of Us) at 1280x720, in a "boxed" display where they would play in a smaller window instead of taking the full screen?

Check to see if your T.V. has a letterbox setting.

Some games have this feature.

Here are 2 games that I know have it:

Little Big Planet 2

Cod Black ops

Not sure why it would be doing that. I play 720P games on a 65'' and they are never blurry.

It shouldn't matter though since you can adjust the same settings you find on a TV with this display.
