Well, let's see.

I spent $17 on a 3 month subscription.

I've gotten about $300 in free content so far (With new stuff coming out every week or other week depending on how busy they are with other stuff apparently.)

I'd say yes.

I would like to have the option of what games I get since alot of the stuff I got for free I already owned.

yea it seems worth it and im enjoying the deals but i feel that sony could do more with this program

My wifey loves it for all the sypro and the hedgehog she has gotten. I like it for all the peace it is keeping in the house. The boy loves the minis they give away all the time. Gonna have to upgrade his HD pretty soon I think.

Looking at PS+ and its cost and what you get and then the other subscription based service out there, and I can tell you I have gotten a lot more from PS then the other.

LEQ - $300 of free games which, after your subscription ends or you spend more money to renew it, all those games disappear at the end.  For a 3 month membership, $300 worth of free games is ALOT of playtime in 3 months (not to mention whatever you already have) if you're truely taking advantage of the games and playing them through, if they even happen to be any good.

The PS plus subscription is worth getting only if you like playing minis and exclusive psn titles like stacking. Also every week you get new free avatars and wallpapers which is cool. That being said PS plus is not for everyone it depends if you enjoy those games I mentioned and discounts on certain psn titles.

sony needs to make it a little better of it to be worth getting.. I've had it since it started and I have not found that it gives you much good stuff. ....
