Re: Is Playstation Move officially dead?

Mar 10, 2012

I thought PS Move had potential, when it was first announced... Now it seems to not be supported, or a afterthought and a total waste of money. I used it for one game and never really cared to use it again. I do wish I never bought it!

New games are still coming out for the Move, but at this point it isn't the higher profile games...

They need to make a Star Wars game for the Move or make more online games for it.

I'm convinced Move is dead. Do you see Resident Evil 5 or 6 w Move?  I think Sony has walked away from Playstation.

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition uses a Move control method, Resident Evil 6 has just been announced so if there is Move support it will probably be announced at E3...

I'm not even looking forward to Sorcery anymore ever since I heard it only has a 3 hr campaign. 40 dollars for a game I can beat in 3 hrs with no online no thank you.

I think Sorcery is coming out soon....

Dust514 is rumored to have move support unless they removed it to add in the keyboard and mouse support.

The difference is that this is still Move version 1.0, and it is not perfect...but nobody at sony that has anything to do with the move is really talking where I can find it easily and google search for me doesn't like to go beyond page 10 of the results.

I think things will turn around if Activision decides to give the next Call of Duty game with Move support...

The times I've used the PS Move on Resistance 3, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, & PAIN I've had a lot of fun with it & no problems. I am thinking of getting Brunswick Pro Bowling just cause of the Move support.

Re: Is Playstation Move officially dead?

I just got a couple of move bundles ( 2 Mayhem Edition packs @ $80 each) since I figured I would then have two move setups and sell the extra 2 games and camera. I've been looking for good multiplayer games to use it with (separate post).

But is this price drop on bundles ("while supplies last" on the playstation website) an indication that Sony is abandoning the move? I'm going to take back my bundles and get my money back if this is the case (haven't opened the games yet). I don't want to spend that much money if it is a dead technology.
