Installing Content Manager Assistant

Content Manager Assistant for PlayStation® is a computer application that enables data transfer between a PS Vita system and a computer (Windows® / Mac). Content Manager Assistant is needed for all operations that copy, back up, and restore content or applications on your PS Vita system to or from a computer.
You perform all of these operations using your PS Vita system.

Installing Content Manager Assistant

Download Content Manager Assistant from the following website:
http://cma.dl.playstation.net/cma/
The installation procedure is on the website.

A version number would be nice.

I can't view anything on my PS Vita using Windows Explorer. I guess all operations have to be done through the PS Vita.

This thread doesn't need to be stickied.

This is to help those who don't know their way around and asks for questions about how to traansfer files between Vita and your pc/PS3 or online storage.

You're welcome

There have been people in fact who have asked about file-transferring between the Vita and pc.

Your unconstructive comment doesn't need to exist; if people want to post things that could help at least one person in the community, more power to them. Your comment, on the other hand, helps absolutely nobody~.

Hate to rain on your parade but if they can't follow simple pop up instrustions from the vita on the ways to install this..... they shouldn't be using a vita, let alone a computer.
