Um, my power cord is connetet label side up yet my PS3 slim also gets very hot on its bottom/back .
That's exactly where the power supply is, so it's expected to be pretty hot right there.

Sony should of made one side more square than the other side, thats why they do that in the first place. Sure they write "dont plug it in this way" yatta yatta, the average holiday consumer that doesnt know how to read wont see it, then before you know it we see a report on the news...failing to tell people all you need to do is flip it around!
BTW just because your PS3 gets warm doesnt mean its flaming hot. It has a power brick in it and thats going to get hot no matter what, its where electricity from the wall goes into the system, converts, and spreads to where it needs to go. So its constantly working with it and thats extremely hot. Just keep it ventilated and as cool as possible and your fine. You dont think Sony built this system in house, pushed it to the max, and kept it running for a day or two before releasing it do you....?

Is there a actual written warning on the plug itself it has to be a certain way? Or anywhere in the manual that says this?
I'll believe it if it actually says it, and someone posts a picture of this, anyone with a slim and a camera?
