if u have ps3 problems freezing and stuff like that then u need to take apart the ps3 clean it out really good buy some Arctic Silver 5 and change the thermal paste i did that and my ps3 runs like new u cant even hear it the fan is on level 1 and it really helps protecting you from YLOD

That's a pretty heavy step for most people, especially those not familiar with installing CPUs or GPUs.  Doing other things first like fixing the file structure etc are alot more user friendly.

 

I wouldn't post this info either without a full guide and a disclaimer.  You may be responsible partly for just causing multiple PS3's to become footrests.
