Definitely a bad idea.. We already pay $60 a game and then pay $14.99 to watch netflix so I say that gaikai should be free service for us as a download app only on Playstation plus members..

Netflix is only $7.99 for streaming, and nobody is forcing you to subscribe. So no -- Gaikai shouldn't be free just because you feel like you are spending too much on services YOU choose to buy into. Gaikai being a paid service separate from PS+ is a fair expectation.

From what I have seen/read on different articles, they are saying it will be Q3 2014. It is just hearsay, no one really knows.

You are kind of already using Gaikai if you are using remote play on PS4; it is "powered" by Gaikai.

No, not right now. When Gaikai is implemented it will be utilized to assist in handling the stream when someone isn't on their home network. Right now though, it's just a standard connection like remote desktop.

So that's your only backing? A special presentation during a major conference?

The public version doesn't use Gaikai, which is why Sony recommends NOT playing with remote outside of the home. Gaikai is not out right now and is not being deployed for the public until 2014. This is fact.

You didn't prove anything other than Gaikai was used during a presentation. It's kind of hard for Gaikai to be used when it's not launched for the public. Common sense.

"Quite similar to Gaikai, the full capability and potential of remote play on the PlayStation Vita has not yet been realized and will continue to grow with the eventual incorporation of Gaikai."

I wouldnt mind paying 60 dollars a month for PS+ if it included Gaikai streaming. That would be a heck of a lot more value than just 60 for just Xbox live.

if they just increase the fee for PS+ and include GAIKAI in there, then people who bought multiple PS+ cards during black friday and stacked like 3 or 4 years are major "win"

so for that reason, i dont think so.

but i like your idea of GAIKAI being included in PS+

I wonder if you have a certain amount of trophies for a game if the trophies will carry overe i have 2 on the last of us and when it comes to galkai eventually i wonder if im going to still have those same 2 trophies and then just add more on as i play it more also i am pretty sure they would have all dlc's for all games on there   i wonder for the ps3 games tht are ps4 games as well i wonder if they will have the downgraded version to play like injustice is now 1080 60 so i wonder if streamed through galkai it will be like the ps3 version   also it would be cool to make all the games on galkai 1080/60

Personally, I think it should be free for PS Plus members, while people who don't have PS Plus should pay a small fee. Under $10 a month is what I'm shooting for.
