I am on the fence still. BF3 was a huge disappointment to me. Lot of gimmicks and EA just kept piling on DLC/premium. Seeing the same footage of the one skyscraper's scripted collapse is getting old.

You apparently are relatively new to the franchise and don't know a whole lot about that skyscraper.

First of all, Battlefield has had DLC for years.

Secondly, the players control the skyscraper falling.

Like I said, do some research.

Then why are you complaining about DLC when BF3 was right on par with every other game? Premium you say? What problem is there with that? Bonus content and early access? Big deal. The premium weapons dont have a significant advantage, in fact most of them are equal to the vanilla weapons in more ways than one.

Paying up front your DLC that isn't even out? Overpriced DLC to boot.

I can agree with that. The DLC is high. But I would rather pay for DLC that is still being made as actual extra content, as opposedto  simply paying more for content that is already finished.

Though with premium, the DLC is insanely discounted. In my case I bought premium once it went onsale so I got all of it for $30!

I'm really hoping BF4 at least looks GOOD on PS4 ... the BF4 beta on 360 was absolute garbage in a TON of ways. REALLY buggy, and the game was horrendously ugly. Worse than the BF3 beta was.

According to DICE the PS4 version will look just about as good as PC.
