Great thread, thank you.
trophycalculator.com used to be a website for conversion ratios. Sadly it's no longer there.
I think that site used 1.5 3 9 18 as their values, really the same thing if you think about it .
Great work I never knew the exact leveling system until now. Appretiate it.
My pleasure. I wonder if maybe one day we can turn our trophies into PSStore credits? Good idea?
It would be awesome turn to trophies into some kibd of credits. I know they had an auction a while back where you could use trophies but it was awful lol. I game a lot, im a level 13 for trophies, And stuff on this auction was going for like 900 gold trophies. I looked at mine and didnt have nothing close to that lol.
That was the first auction. The second time they changed it so you would use gold trophies to buy tickets. You could put 900 gold trophies on an item and it would buy you 900 tickets but someone with 30 golds could still win. They basically did a drawing of the tickets. The more tickets the better the chance but it gave the people who weren't high levels a chance.
Also the people who had used CFW's to download games saves from the internet so they could get trophies without playing the game ruind any chance of trophies for credit if Sony ever even thought about that.
If there was a credit system people would find a way to cheat the system.
It will not play a major factor because I'm sure Sony have a detection system in place. When and how trophies are acquired and whether a system connected via online with a CFW can be detected.
...and you get what in return for them? Are they worth anything? Can you gain credits on the PSN or something? I don't see the point of caring about them.
This is one thing I love about steam. As you unlock trading cards, they become worth! MONEY! Steam even setup a online style ebay trading card site. You can sell trading cards or buy them. Sold over 44 dollars worth of trading cards earned in game unlocks. I have a feel Sony would never do something like that. Sony and Microsoft still push Paywalls for poor MP experiences.
