Popping in to say hi, I'm new here haha. I played MGS4 back when it came out and enjoyed it, that was my introduction to the series. It helps that a friend of mine is a massive MGS fan, as well as MGSV looking phenomenal so I'm riding the hype train. I've read up on the overall story so I could understand MGS4 as best as possible, but here I am starting from the beginning. I've had MGS1 on my PS3 for years and I finally started it up tonight, there's a lot of stuff that already makes way more sense haha. TIME FOR A METAL GEAR SOLID BINGE.

The first time through without skipping cutscenes?

GI finished Ground Zeroes, the first playthrough until the credits roll, in under two hours, that is without skipping cutscenes and taking their time with it. In the four hours they played it for they finished the main game twice and played a Side-Op and the two console exclusive Extra-Op missions.

If MGS4 got you interested in the series then the other three games are going to be a blast for you. If you want to play the rest of the series you can get the HD Collection which has MGS2, 3, and Peace Walker for pretty cheap. Smiley Mad

The difference there is to beat the others in 3 hours, you have to skip cutscenes and speed run it. If you do that in GZ, apparently it only takes 5 minutes. I wanna get GZ really badly but I'm having a hard time justifying the purchase.
