When I saw X-play review MAG way back in the day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4ygd0GFodY it was the first time I heard of MAG and bought it shortly after. If only everyone saw this and not the bogus IGN reviews.
That IGN review was awful. I think most people would agree that 32 vs 32 battles in a platoon is alot more epic than anything else the PS3 had to offer. At the letters in Domination, it could get very chaotic. Also if you're going to be a "professional reviewer" atleast get the game modes right lol...
Japan got Dom on all levels. Yeah take down the bunker line, knock out their AA and the next thing you know their super repair crew is on it. These guys pull out their upgraded repair kits and in 10 seconds whatever they're on is back up. They had every kind of player and like Dan said KDR meant nothing to them. Wasn't uncommon to see a bunch of them with crazy scores like 110-45 at the end. They're greatest contribution was where they would drive vehicles to....crazy.
The teamwork of the Japanese players was very strong. As much of a beating they packed, it was ultimately the lag that made me not want to deploy into DOM in the morning.
Idk any clan names. I was a lone wolf and single man clan lol. But I would see that in sabotage in the Sver map more often than the other two maps. Communication was a really good system in that game.
Why would you prefer to play solo ? Playing with other people made the game alot more enjoyable atleast for me.
Personally, I preferred playing solo most of the time because playing on an organized team vs randies is boring, especially when it just results in sitting around at the redline.Well playing on SVER you usually didn't need to join a clan to win atleast in Acquisition or Domination. On Valor or Raven it was a different story if you were playing the larger game modes unless you played during Japanese primetime where MAG was the most balanced.
